Tonie Jean Rose (Neer), age 73, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Tonie had a natural warmth that made people feel welcome the moment they were around her. She loved the beach, interior decorating, and traveling. She took pride in creating beautiful, comforting spaces where family could gather. She was quick with a smile, generous with her time, and always ready to help in whatever way was needed. Strong-willed and determined, Tonie faced life with resilience and grace. She was a deeply supportive mother, a caring and devoted wife, and a steady source of encouragement for those she loved most. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave endlessly of herself to ensure they felt loved, supported, and safe. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed enough to know her.

Tonie is survived by her daughter, Jenifer, her son, Scott, and her cherished grandchildren, Brittany, Julian, Vanessa, Scott Jr., Valentino, and Adrian, who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her siblings Terie, Larry, David, Julie, and Sonley, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will be held for close family members in Sarasota, Florida, on March 21, 206.
