Sr. Bishop Algie Poole Jr., a beloved servant of God, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on January 28, 1947, to his nurturing parents, Algie B Poole Sr. and Ollie Alice Johnson, whose teachings and love shaped the foundation of his faith and purpose in life.

Throughout his journey, Bishop Poole exemplified an unwavering devotion not only to his ministry but also to the community he cherished. He was a guiding light for many, known not only for his powerful sermons but for the genuine kindness he showed to everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. His warm smile and heartfelt greetings made everyone feel at home, whether they had known him for years or just a short time.

In celebrating his life, the community will gather to honor Sr. Bishop Poole at the following services:

Visitation will take place on May 3, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at St James Missionary Baptist in Riviera Beach, FL. The following day, May 4, 2025, there will be another opportunity for visitation at Evangelistic Outreach Ministries in Delray Beach from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, culminating in the Funeral Service that same day at 3:00 PM. The Interment will take place on Tues, May 6, 2025 at 10:30am at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. SR 7, Lake Worth, FL, 33449.
